Scanlon Designs is a fully licensed and insured deck builder serving New Jersey since 1994. Our team of expert deck builders specializes in building wood and composite decks, patios, pergolas, gazebos and boat docks.
Scanlon Designs is solely owned and operated by John Scanlon. John works with you directly through every step of the process, from deck design until final completion. He prides himself in delivering exceptional service and the highest quality workmanship on every improvement project, big or small, for every homeowner.
OUR PROCESS
Every deck build begins with an onsite visit and a budget estimate. We will take the time to listen to your needs and understand what you want to achieve with your deck project. Next, we will review all the ways we can bring your dream deck to life, which includes reviewing material and color options, and incorporating the existing architecture of your home. We also go over any extra features you may want to include, such as railing styles, planters, benches, and additional lighting.
You will receive a custom deck design and estimate for the project, and we will give you time to review so you can make the right decision for your home and family. Once you are happy with the design and the estimate, the next step of the process is to create drawings to submit with the permit applications and order the materials. Once all the permits are approved and the materials are in, we will begin construction on your new deck.
